Our Frames
Varying in shape, style, size, and material, our selection of frames are as diverse as the pictures and objects they contain.
All of our hand-finished frames use only the highest quality FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood, meaning it is sustainably harvested from well managed forests, and each frame is carefully assembled in our Bristol studio.
Walnut
Oak
Light brown colour with a darker open grain. This wood is best finished with a natural or coloured wax to show off its unique surface.
Comes in a variety of dark brown tones with a fine grain. This wood is best finished with a natural wax to show off its rich colour.
Cherry
Ash
Light brown to pink with a darker brown grain. Cherry is best unfinished as it will turn into a rich red/brown colour with age.
Pale brown or yellow with a dark grain. A cheaper alternative to oak, ash is best finished with a natural or coloured wax to show off its distinctive grain.
Lime
Obeche
Cream to off-white with minimal grain. A great wood if you want a modern grain-free finish. Best used with hand painted finish or a white wax so you don't see the grain.
Pale yellow with an open grain. This wood is great for hand painted frames where the grain is visible, it is our low-priced option.

We stock a variety of pre finished frames that include gold, silver and bronze options, from modern, square gallery frames, to traditional ornate and distressed frames.
We stock low profile aluminium frames in black or white.
